A small group of homeowners attended the annual WMC meeting on December 4th at the Spring City Restaurant. Those individuals along with approximately 100 proxy voters approved the 2018 budget which called for a zero increase in the annual $130 assessment.
The 2018 payment will be due on January 31st.
In other business, the current Board members were all reelected to their same positions on the WMC Board for 2018.
The complete 2018 budget will be sent to all homeowners later this month. The late December mailing will also include minutes of the annual meeting and the invoice for the 2018 assessment.
The WMC serves the 339 property owners residing in the Windings of Pebble Valley subdivision located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The subdivision is legally known as "Pebble Valley Addition #2." If you have questions about your assessment or other issues in the Windings, contact President Frank Remfrey at (262) 542-0176 or fremfrey@yahoo.com. Brush Pickup Slated for Early May
From the Waukesha Freeman:
Annual brush pickup to be held first week of May
WAUKESHA — Waukesha’s annual brush pickup is right around the corner.
City residents may begin putting branches out in front of their homes for Waukesha’s annual brush pickup on April 24.
The brush/branch pickup will occur from May 1-5 on the same day as residents’ garbage pickup, though the city will collect the branches, not garbage drivers.
Residents must have their brush and branches out by 7 a.m. the day of pickup.
Brush and branches must be set on the grass area between the curb and sidewalk. Materials may not be placed in the street and should not block the sidewalk.
The brush and branches should be set with the butt ends at the curb unless the length of the brush and branches blocks the sidewalk, in which case they need to be set the long way.
Branches and brush can be up to 3 inches in diameter and 6 feet long. Residents should not include very small twigs, other yard waste or leaves. They will not be collected.
Brush and branches shouldn’t be tied into bundles, nor put into bags, boxes or other containers. Rather, brush branches should be kept loose inpiles on the ground. No other objects should be included in the pile.
Residents may also bring their brush and branches to the city drop-off center, 750 Sentry Drive, for free during open public hours that week. The drop-off hours will be held Wednesday, May 3, and Saturday, May 6.
